At our annual book fair a few years ago I stumbled upon Hello Cupcake it was such a cute book. Then this past book fair I found the follow-up book. Of course I hadn't made one cupcake from the first book...so with the purchase of the next book I committed to making something from the new book.

Second Opportunity- Student Council Banquet & a cupcake contest. My son decided on the Chinese Food. They were fun to make and it actually turned out as a great family night. Yes, my husband got into the act too. The kids couldn't believe these weren't store bought (neither could the moms). I also didn't go Martha the recipe making the cupcakes from a boxed cake recipe and using pre-made frosting.
