Toddler Gift

If you're anything like me you might be the last minute shopper perusing the local
or other large retailer for the perfect gift.  I'm one of four girls and the one with the least amount of children. Also, my children are of the older half.  However, I have the cutest nieces and nephews but what to get them?  They have practically everything and clothes (even though parents love them) are BORING! So during the last visit I took notice of what they all enjoyed playing with.  They generally have the same likes in common.  Often fighting over who gets what.  So why not put together those several items in something they can carry and call their own?  You can even personalize the carrier in their favorite color.  Oh yah, and if you can do it under $15 SCORE!

Small Gifts sand pail, sidewalk chalk, spill proof bubbles,
mini flashlight, and small ball.

How to wrap a ball?
Step 1, place ball in center of large piece of wrapping
paper place at an angle.

Step 2 tape so that corner to corners are met.

Voila!

Personalize sand pail with a sharpie marker.
I plan to have my kids write a message.

What to include;
Small box sidewalk chalk .99 (Target)
Small spill proof bubbles $1.04 (
)
Mini flash light $3.99 (Office Max)
Small ball such as Scooby Doo $2.99 (
)
Medium sand pail to pack it in $1.99 (
)

Wrap individually (or not)  and pile up in sand pail. Don't forget the bow. Write birthday wishes on the sand pail.

Teenage Girl Gift

Teenage Niece -
Okay so my niece is about to turn 16.  She is my brother in-laws step daughter and we don't get to spend a lot of time with her.  It's a crap shoot if I'll remember her birthday but this year it's on like Donkey Kong!
Hot gift the new  polaroid camera even hotter the film to go with it (sold out at almost every Target).

Find party stickers and personalize the heck out of her card.
My children once said the more presents to open the better.  Heed their advice.

Load film on bottom of gift bag to not ruin the surprise of the camera.

Big gift on top tuck Sharpie next to it.

Complete gift; individually wrap camera and boxes of film. Giving more than one box of film is suggested because only 10 shots come in a box.  Include Sharpie pen.  Once wrapped put all packages in a beautiful fun gift bag w/tissue paper.  For now on you can include a box of film with CASH (Cash is King to most) or Gift Card to her favorite haunts.  Now this is the perfect GIFT that keeps on giving.
Don't forget the bow, add something special like plastic bracelets or silly bands.
One awesome teenage girl gift

Father's Day

Today is Father's Day and like most I'm just as busy as the next gal.  However~ my husband did request breakfast in bed.  Hmmm....did he mean literally or was it a request for another kind of bedroom treat?  In any case I decided to try out a local spot some friends posted on facebook and they found on yelp.  M&M Donuts is onolicious (that means like really good eats in pigeon/hawaiian) especially the Blueberry donuts.
Blueberry Donuts
Proper order "Dozen Blue."
Maybe not the healthiest but hey blueberries are full of antitoxins right?  Donuts travel when on the way to father in-laws house.

HotNfancy

Hot - Passionately enthusiastic, eager, or excited
Fancy - Feel a desire or liking for

Another blog of many but hello I'm HotNfancy.  My daughter came up with it one day when I was leaving for a baby shower.  She said "Wow Mom you're hot and fancy!" I was dressed in a 40's style white dress with red polka dots and killer red pumps given to me by my sister.  To my delight I devoured that statement from then on.  I am still hot and fancy.  Maybe not for all the superficial reasons you might think, but deep down I know the reality is for all the goodness I bring into my world.  If my world is anything like yours filled with busy days and constant juggling of career, domestic bliss and motherly duties well read on.  You might find something you like.
The goodness I bring is my enthusiastic way of living, my eagerness is to accomplish many things in this life time for my family and self.  The desire to like all whom I meet and well let's be honest to look good doing it.
For all intensive purposes I'm a wife and mother of two (boy, girl) more like a size 12 than a 0.  This is a blog about my tips and tricks while having fun.
